Volunteer in AustraliaFriends of Kolkata is proudly an entirely volunteer run organisation. We are always looking for volunteers to help with fundraising, project and event management. Our monthly action meetings are held in the evening of the third Thursday of each month, meetings usually take place in the inner and north east areas of Melbourne. Currently all of our volunteer opportunities are based in Melbourne, Australia however we hope to send a group of dedicated volunteers to visit our partner organisation the Insitute of Social Work(ISW) in Kolkata, India in the near future.
